UOG Dean/Director visits College of Micronesia

Dr. Lee Yudin, dean/director of the College of Natural and Applied Sciences, University of Guam paid a visit to the College of Micronesia-Federal States of Micronesia (COM-FSM) on May 2-6, 2008  Dr. Yudin is also the senior administrator of the Carribean-Pacific Consortium grant.

During the visit, Dr. Yudin went to Pohnpei, where he visited both the National and Pohnpei Campus facilities, including a new Smart Boards and Elluminate Program, the RI training farm, and the Traditional and Medicinal Botanical Garden, the Pohnlangas training farm and the Sei Pepper Farm in Wone, Kitti. He paid a courtesy call on COM-FSM President Spensin James, COM-FSM Land Grant Programs Executive Director Singeru Singeo, and SPC Northern Region Office Manager Amena Yavouli.  Dr. Yudin also discussed on the plan and articulation of courses including the preparation of the application of a recent agriculture graduate to continue his studies at COM-FSM with VP Jean Thoulag, VP Jim Currie, Agriculture Instructors Kiyoshi Phillip, and Lyle Baconguis.
